2 dead, 1 injured in West Hills crash
WEST HILLS >> Two people died and at least one person was injured in a two-vehicle crash Sunday evening in West Hills, the Los Angeles Fire Department said.
The crash happened about 6 p.m. at 23700 Vanowen St., near Platt Avenue, LAFD spokesman Brian Humphrey said.
The collision also knocked down a light pole and sheared off a fire hydrant, he said.
There is no word yet on the gender or ages of the deceased.
Their names will be withheld pending notification of kin.
