AMD Publishes a New Radeon Graphics Driver – Get the 17.12.1 Adrenalin Edition



Just now, AMD has pushed out a new graphics driver targeted at several of its GPU models, namely the Radeon Software Adrenalin Edition 17.12.1, which provides increased performance for both desktop and mobile platforms.

This first Adrenalin release benefits from a new user interface, implements additional options for Radeon Settings, Radeon Overlay, Radeon ReLive, Radeon Chill, Radeon WattMan, and Radeon FreeSync, and adds support for Vulkan API, Multi-GPU, and Eyefinity configurations.

In addition to that, the driver is now compatible with all GCN-based Radeon graphics products, resolves hangs/crashes spotted in OverWatch, Halo Wars 2, and Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege, and corrects the bright/saturated lighting in Assassin’s Creed: Origins.

Moreover, Mass Effect Andromeda does not have compatibility issues with HDR10 anymore, corruptions or foliage during Forza Horizon 3 gameplay are fixed, and numerous other improvements (highlighted in the Release Notes below… (read more)
