Apple Seeds Fifth Beta of iOS 11.2.5 to Developers and Public Beta Testers
Apple released on Thursday the fifth beta of its upcoming iOS 11.2.5 operating system to registered developers and public beta testers, most probably to fix some regressions or issues from previous beta versions.
It’s a bit unusual for Apple to release both the Developer beta and Public beta builds simultaneously, so fixing some important bugs may the main reason behind this unexpected move from the Cupertino-based company. Therefore we recommend all users to update their devices as soon as possible.
Only the iOS 11.2.5 operating system received the beta 5 treatment as the macOS 10.13.3 High Sierra, tvOS 11.2.5, and watchOS 4.2.2 operating systems remain at the beta 4 milestone that Apple released a couple of days ago. iOS 11.2.5 beta 5 (15D5057a) is now available for all users running beta 4 via over-the-air (OTA) updates.
