Brush fire in Agoura Hills burns less than five acres

AGOURA HILLS (AP) – Los Angeles County firefighters have held a small brush fire in the Agoura Hills area to less than five acres.

The fire erupted at midday Thursday in the Liberty Canyon area near U.S. 101.

Locally gusty Santa Ana winds have been blowing in Southern California, but the region has also been dampened by above-normal rain and more showers are expected Friday and Saturday.
