Ford Adds Two New Mustang Special Editions For 2022
For the first time, the California Special is available with the GT Performance Package too, meaning that you can have Brembo six-piston brakes up front, unique chassis tuning with upgraded front springs, a larger rear sway bar, lower ride height, a K-brace, a strut tower brace, a front subframe brace, and even a Torsen limited-slip differential. The power steering and stability control systems also get a retune, while staggered 19×9 and 19×9.5-inch wheels with Pirelli summer rubber further add to the car’s handling prowess. This model comes in Atlas Blue, Carbonized Gray, Cyber Orange, Dark Matter, Grabber Blue Metallic, Iconic Silver, Rapid Red, Shadow Black, and Oxford White.
Ford has not yet announced pricing, but both models will be open for orders later this year, with arrivals in dealers set for the first quarter of 2022.
