Google Brings the Full Google Assistant Experience to Apple’s iPad, Download Now
Google has updated its Google Assistant for iOS app on Tuesday with initial support for Apple’s iPad tablets, bringing the full Google Assistant experience to the iPad for the first time.
If you ever wanted to use Google’s personal assistant on your iPad tablet, we have some good news for you today as you can now install the Google Assistant for iOS app on your iPad. Google updated the app today to offer iPad user the full Google Assistant experience on their tablets.
The Google Assistant for iOS appears to be compatible with all of Apple’s iPad models, but you should keep in mind that it requires at least iOS 10.0. The app is also compatible with iPhone and iPod touch devices, and it’s currently available in English, Spanish, French, Italian, German, Portuguese, and Japanese languages.
“Meet your Google Assistant. Ask it questions. Tell it to do things. It’s your own personal Google, always ready to help. Find answers and get things done while on-the-go with the help of your Google Assistant. Remind yourself to stop by the store, pull up your travel photos to show a friend, or make a dinner reservation,” said Google.
Here’s what you can do with Google Assistant on your iPad
With Google Assistant on your iPad, you’ll be able to send messages and emails, set reminders and calendar events, navigate places and play music, as well as to check the weather information and ask all sort of questions that interest you. The app has unrestricted web access, and it may use your location even when it’s closed.
If you’re wondering, it can do pretty much what Siri can do for you, but it cannot be invoked with a voice command when your device is locked. Also, you must have at least 17 years old to download the app. The latest version of Google Assistant for iOS is now available on the App Store and includes bug fixes and stability improvements.
