Have a frightful Halloween with Frightfest Presents
It’s October and the night’s are drawing in, meaning one thing, Halloween is almost upon us. Everyone loves a good scare, but we’ve all seen the classics umpteen times and we at THN think it’s time for a change. Why not choose something brand new to scare yourself silly with this year? You don’t even have to look that hard for a film, just head to digital platform Frightfest Presents.
The site is a partnership between Icon Film Distribution and Horror Channel Frighthfest’s organisers Alan Jones, Ian Rattray, Paul McAvoy and Greg Day. The venture started last year and features the creme de la creme of what Frightfest has to offer. With a total of thirteen films to choose from we’ve devised a handy list of what each film has to offer. Don’t worry if you’re not digitally minded, all the films are also now available on DVD.
Aaaaaaah!
Director: Steve Oram
Synopsis: Ever imagined what life would be like if humans were apes in modern life? That is the portrayal in this deeply thought provoking mind boggle.
Pick if: Your film tastes are more art-house than multiplex. This is a film that shows what mankind would be like had we never fully evolved from our primate pasts. With all dialogue told through primate noises and some rather questionable actions, Aaaaaaaah! will not please everyone. A true marmite film, it takes someone with an open mind to fully appreciate.
