Hennessey Venom F5 Teases New Lightweight Wheels Ahead Of Reveal
There’s a new supercar coming from Texas-based tuner Hennessey Performance, and we don’t know that we could have waited another day.
The Hennessey Venom F5 is the official successor to the 2011-2017 Venom GT, and the scrappy tuning company’s first wholly original, in-house project. Where the Venom GT was built on a stretched Lotus Exige chassis and powered by a twin-turbocharged Chevy LS7, the F5 will utilize a unique Hennessey chassis, drawing power from a Hennessey-developed twin-turbocharged 6.6-liter V8 – albeit one based on Chevy’s small-block architecture.
The Venom F5 has been a long time coming, but the supercar is, at long last, ready to be revealed today, Tuesday, December 15. To get everyone pumped, Hennessey has just given everyone a sneak peak at the supercar’s wheels.
