Kendall Jenner Photoshoot Accused of ‘Appropriating’ Ballet AND not Being Body Positive

A Kendall Jenner photoshoot by Vogue  España has been hit with a double whammy of “only in 2016” dumb internet outrage.

In the shoot, Jenner dresses up as a ballerina and prances around looking stupid and making you want to shove your head into a bucket of lobsters until the day the Kardashian clan becomes irrelevant.

But some people on the internet were offended by more than just the fact that a multi-million dollar family empire could be built on a sex tape. They were actually mad that 1) Jenner was ‘appropriating’ ballet, and 2) the shoot was not body positive.

To Vogue’s credit they probably would not sell as many copies of their October issue if they just slapped a random ballerina on the cover.

The insufferable pop culture blog, Fusion, had to one up everybody else in the outrage department by calling Jenner’s shoot “actively harmful” and making this an issue of body positivity, anorexia, and racism somehow.

The Fusion article argues that because Vogue put Kendall Jenner into a ballerina costume just because she was skinny, it means that they are promoting the ultra-thin ideal dancer body, which not only promotes anorexia but excludes black women.

Where are the pitchforks and torches, because Vogue  España should be literally burned to the ground immediately!
