LGBTQ Nation Names Milo Person of the Year

Here’s proof, if any more were needed, that Milo Yiannopoulos had a gay old time in 2016.

The provocateur has just been voted LGBTQ Nation’s 2016 Person of the Year, an award for the “top newsmaker” in the LGBTQ community as voted for by readers of the leading gay website.

But LGBTQ Nation doesn’t seem to like their new hero very much pointing out that Milo had encouraged his formidable following on Breitbart News—where he is Tech Editor—and Reddit into voting for him via the online poll.

The announcement caustically added: “Yiannopoulos made the news throughout 2016 and always for truly awful reasons. He was a queer cheerleader for Donald Trump, whom he called ‘Daddy.’ He has harassed and demeaned transgender people repeatedly.”

They promise an interview with Yiannopoulos next week. With his yet-to-be-published controversial memoir Dangerous having slipped in the Amazon chart to 46 from number one just a few days ago, the interview will no doubt give Yiannopoulos the shot in the arm he needs as his efforts to become LGBTQ Nation’s 2017 Person of the Year gear up.
