Melania Trump Promises To ‘Improve’ Life For Women In 1st Pre-Election Campaign Speech

Well at least we’ve got one Trump who wants to ‘improve’ life for American women and give them ‘respect,’ and it’s Donald’s wife Melania. The possible future first lady hit the campaign trail in support of her husband Nov. 3, so keep reading for how she’s promising to advocate for women.

“He knows how to shake things up, doesn’t he!” Melania Trump, 46, said of her husband’s presidential campaign and then went on to try to convince the Berwyn, PA audience that Donald’s not the woman hating misogynist he’s been painted to be. In her first speech in Melania’s disastrous RNC appearance, she asked the crowd, “Do we want a country that respects women and provides them with opportunity? Yes!” Of course we definitely want that for America, but the way Donald has bullied and disrespected women throughout his campaign he sure hasn’t shown us that will happen if he becomes president.

While she made no promises about how her husband will treat womankind if he makes it into the White House, Melania pledged that, “I will be an advocate for women and children,” adding that “I will also work hard to improve everyday life for women.” She noted how many women struggle with poverty, but didn’t give any details about how she or Donald would actually do anything about the problem.

Then things got even more weird, as she told the boisterous crowd, “We need kindness honesty, respect, compassion, charity, understanding and cooperation,” as a nation. Um, WHAT? Respect and compassion are two traits that her husband is completely lacking in. While her sentiment was nice, Donald sure doesn’t practice what his wife was preaching.

She then pledged to make fighting cyberbullying a cornerstone project if she becomes first lady, noting, “Our culture is too mean and too rough…especially to children and teenagers. It is never okay when a 12-year-old girl is mocked bullied or attacked.” Again, WHO has helped make bullying culture so prevalent these days? Look no further than her husband throughout his entire presidential run.

HollywoodLifers, what do you think about Melania’s speech about improving life for women? Do you believe her?
