Congratulations are in order! The Miss World competition took place on Dec. 18, and Stephanie Del Valle was officially crowned the winner. Taking the stage in her stunning evening gown, she was positively glowing after the results were announced! Meet your new queen!
Puerto Rico’s Stephanie del Valle, 19, was crowned Miss World on Dec. 18, at the MGM National Harbor in Oxon Hill, Maryland! It was a fierce competition and all the ladies brought their A-game, but judges just couldn’t deny Stephanie’s grace and class! On top of that, she looked positively stunning in her sparkling pink gown. The beauty queen was beaming during her shining moment, especially after receiving the bejeweled tiara. She called it an “honor and a great responsibility!”
While Stephanie was a show-stopper in all respects of the competition’s talent, fitness, and beauty components, we have to give a hand to all of the lovely ladies who put forth their best efforts in the final round. The top ten alone, consisted of some of the most intelligent and all-around amazing women ever! Dominican Republic stunner, Yaritza Miguelina Reyes Ramírez earned second place, while Indonesia’s Natasha Mannuela took third! It certainly was a tough call, since ladies from over one hundred countries and autonomous territories gave it their all in the pageant!
Mireia Lalaguna — Pics Of Last Year’s Winner
The judges table included a number of elite pageant officials as well as past winners including Miss World 1988 Linda Pétursdóttir, Miss World 2001 Agbani Darego, and Miss World 2008 Ksenia Sukhinova. Last year’s outgoing queen Mireia Lalaguna of Spain had the honor of crowning her successor at the end of the event. We couldn’t be any happier for this year’s Miss World after her major accomplishment. Congratulations to all of the women who competed!
