Morning Quakes Shake Area South of Downtown LA
At least three earthquakes, including two of magnitude-3.0, rattled parts of Southern California Tuesday morning.
The quakes were centered in the Gardena area, about 15 miles south of downtown Los Angeles. Weak shaking was reported in Hawthone, Gardena, Inglewood and other nearby communities.
The quakes followed a magnitude-2.5 earthquake earlier Tuesday morning in the same area.
There were no immediate reports of damage.
