New Graphics Driver Available from AMD – Get Radeon Crimson ReLive 17.5.2
AMD has announced the availability of a new version of its Radeon Crimson Edition Graphics driver, namely the 17.5.2 package, which improves Prey gaming performance once more compared to the previous 17.5.1 Crimson ReLive update (by up to 4.5% on Radeon RX 580 8GB).
In addition to that, the producer removes a bug that caused NieR: Automata to hang or crash after short periods of gameplay, and fixes a primary display adapter issue that would appear disabled in Radeon Settings in certain situations.
Moreover, AMD also resolves the system hangs encountered by Radeon RX 550 series graphics products when entering sleep/hibernate modes, as well as the very long map/launch load times spotted when playing Forza Horizon 3.
In terms of compatibility, besides a supported GPU, take into account that your configuration must be running a 32- or 64-bit variant of Microsoft’s Windows 7, 8.1, and 10 operating systems (except for the 32-bit architecture of Windows 8.1).
Therefore, remove any previous version present on your computer, save and run the appropriate package for your system, wait for all files required to be made available, and follow all instructions displayed on the screen for a complete upgrade.
With this in mind, if you consider applying this release, download AMD Radeon Crimson Graphics Driver 17.5.2, install it and perform a reboot once finished. Also, check back with us to stay “updated one minute ago.”
