Official: America’s Next Honda HR-V Will Be Totally Unique
The Honda HR-V has been around since the 2016 model year and even longer in overseas markets where it’s known as the Vezel. Since its introduction, the subcompact crossover segment has grown dramatically, attracting millions of buyers who continue to migrate over from conventional sedans. Due to its age, a new HR-V is just around the corner, only this time Honda is doing things a bit differently.
Honda North America has now officially confirmed the following: “The development of a successor to the Honda HR-V for the U.S. market is underway. This new HR-V will be designed to meet the distinct needs of U.S. customers, and will differ from the Honda Vezel/HR-V that will be introduced in other regions. Honda will have more information to share regarding the next-generation Honda HR-V designed for the U.S. market closer to launch.”
