Official: Chrysler Leaves Australia
The fact that production of the 300 is set to end by mid-decade, and that Chrysler doesn’t offer RHD versions of its Voyager/Pacifica minivan, has forced the brand to withdraw from the market.
Australia also represents the last right-hand-drive market for Chrysler, after it made its exit out of South Africa in 2017. Chrysler Australia now only offers a single model, the Chrysler 300, where it comes in C Luxury trim with V6 power, or in hardcore SRT guise where it gets a healthy dose of V8 power.
As is standard procedure when a manufacturer pulls out of a country, Chrysler has made a commitment to supply parts and servicing for its vehicles for the foreseeable future, which will all be handled by Jeep dealerships.
