Stephen Colbert: Trump Thinks Immigrants Are ‘Murderers’, ‘Terrific People’ & ‘Wives!’

Ouch! Stephen Colbert totally let president-elect Donald Trump have it during his Nov. 14 opening monologue of ‘The Late Show.’ See just what Stephen had to say about Donald’s immigration policy — not to mention his wife — right here!

Stephen Colbert mercilessly attacked president-elect Donald Trump for his policy regarding illegal immigrants during his Nov. 14 Late Show opening monologue. “Regarding his signature campaign pledge to deport all 12 million illegal aliens, Trump said they’re going to immediately deport two million with criminal records. And as for the other 10 million?” Stephen said, after which the show cut to footage of Donald from his 60 Minutes interview.

“After the border is secured, and after everything gets normalized, we’re gonna make a determination on the people that you’re talking about, who are terrific people. They’re terrific people,” Donald said in the interview. Oh boy, we just knew Stephen was gonna roll with this one.

“That’s right!” Stephen said. “They’re terrific people. They’re terrific people. We’re gonna put them on amazing buses! And we’re gonna suspend their fantastic human rights! It’s gonna be the most tremendous trail of tears! Because, for Donald Trump, there’s only three types of immigrants: criminals, terrific people and wives!” BURN! Oh, in case you didn’t remember, Donald’s wife, Melania Trump, is an immigrant. BURN!

Donald Trump Post-Election Protests — Pics

We were all wondering how Stephen was going to take Donald’s win, as the late night host was visibly shaken as the Republican nominee started to take the lead during his live Election Night special on Nov. 8. “Seeing this election … people are gonna be saying ‘Has America lost its mind?’” Stephen said to his audience, as to how other countries would react to the final results of the election. “And the answer is — evidently! ‘Back off buddy! We’ve got 300 million guns and we’re kinda stressed right now!’” But, based on this hilarious monologue, we are sure Stephen will find a way to get through the results, and hopefully, the next four years.
