TEASED: New Mazda CX-50 Coming Next Week
Production of the car will begin in January next year in Huntsville, Alabama, as part of a joint venture with Toyota. The new CX-50 will likely be motivated by 3.0-liter straight-six gas or diesel engines, possibly with turbocharging adding to the appeal. Mild hybrid technology is expected to appear in the range, improving efficiency and driveability. All-wheel drive is on the cards too, although rear-driven options could also arrive. Reliability, power, and efficiency will be the goal here, and safety will be a priority, so expect loads of advanced driver tech to be included as standard with more available on the options list.
