The 2022 Chevy Blazer Is Just As Reliable As A Lexus RX
While the Chevy Blazer and others sit near the top of the Consumer Reports list, the organization lists several others to avoid. The 2022 Hyundai Santa Fe scored 64 overall and earned below-average marks for reliability. That’s tough, but the 2022 Ford Explorer is worse, with a 47 overall and a poor reliability score. At least those vehicles have not tangled with the organization like Tesla has over the years.
Consumer Reports gathered data on more than 320,000 cars to generate its scores for this year. In addition to reliability, it scored the SUVs on safety equipment performance and comfort/convenience. Interestingly, the Blazer performed similarly in J.D. Power’s ranking system. There, it scored an 84 overall and came in second behind the Nissan Murano for quality and reliability. The Murano did not fare as well as the Chevy in CR’s testing, earning 81 overall.
