‘Treating’ Your Car To A Higher-Octane Fuel Is A Waste Of Money, New Report Find



There is no benefit to splurging on premium gasoline in a vehicle designed to run on regular-grade fuel, yet in the last year, over 16 million American drivers wasted more than $2.1 billion dollars doing just that. Those consumers ‘upgrading’ to premium gasoline paid about 50 cents more per gallon than necessary.

Those are highlights of new research released last week by the AAA.
